[Please disregard all bad pictures, intense sunshine in the lower left corner and wrinkles.]
Now, you may note that everything I purchase is cheap or on sale. Yes, that's who I am.

This is the first cardigan I think I ever purchased. I bought it with Christmas money at the Old Navy in Fort Wayne back before ON was everywhere. Perhaps as far back as high school...which was 10 years ago.
I love it and never want it to go. It's timeless.
Another ON cardi, I purchased this one on a shopping excursion with Rach McF. It's brown, I rarely wear it and it's very wrinkly, but you didn't notice that because I asked you not to, right?
The Nave. [That means Old Navy, but I'm trying to be clever.] I paid $0.97 for this baby.
I can't remember exactly when I got this, but it's basic, it's black and it's from New York & Company. It's also this kind of weird, heavy, stretchy material known as NOTHING NATURAL.
ON, this one is next up for replacement.
As many of you who see me on a regular basis know, I wear a lot--A LOT--of grey shirts. This cardi matches them. It's also the only one I paid full price for, but that's because the full price was about $8 at Sam's Club winter 2009.
This might be my favorite cardigan. I don't know why, but I feel happy when I put it on. It's from Kohl's and I got it during a shopping extravaganza with my friends Theresa and Kevin. I think I paid $4.
Both of these beaut-igans [beauty+cardigan] are from Ann Taylor Loft. Take an additional 30% off sale last spring!
You may remember this cardigan from before.
When I went to Chicago in September I purchased this at New York & Company. This was the shopping trip where I vowed-aloud-to NEVER NEVER NEVER wear jeggings. I have kept that vow so far.
Old Navy, take an additional 50% off clearance. There's a belt but I'm lazy.
Old Navy, some fall/winter holiday item of the day for $10.
A Land's End purchase...take an additional 40% off overstocks! I love the weight and length but I haven't quite figured out what to wear under it...for the $8 I spent, I'll find something!
Tar-jay, clearance. It's really basically a fancied up sweatshirt. I like to pretend that it's waaay classier than an actual sweatshirt. I don't know if it's working since it is perpetually covered in cat hair. Cat hair is my life, unfortunately. ( :

This is replacing my old favorite winter cardigan. When I went home for Christmas my mom did some laundry and shrunk it. Sad day. New cardigan from Lands' End? Happy day!
Cute. I can't wait for a real winter when I can wear this! Yay!
OK, that's my for the love of cardigans!
Do you have a favorite cardigan? A favorite place to get your cardigans?
Okay--I claim responsibility for the washing, but NOT the drying and shrinking of your cardigan....I think it was Dad--yep, I'm sure it was him.
ReplyDeleteMy favorites are your oldest and your newest! Bookends!
@Mom, I know! Me too! I need to work on the shape of a couple of the others. Yeah, go ahead and blame Dad, he'll never know. ( ;
